TL;DR
By the format you run:
- Your paid social is video-first (TikTok, Reels, short-form): Creatify.
- You need a high volume of static and mixed creative with a performance score, pushed into Google and Meta: AdCreative.ai. Read the full review for the auto-billing caveat first.
- You run both and want one tool: you will likely end up with both, or with Canva plus a video tool.

What each tool actually is
AdCreative.ai gets you enough ad variations to actually test, plus a steer on which to run. It generates many variations from your inputs, scores them for predicted performance, and pushes them into Google and Meta.
AdCreative.ai says it supports over 4,200,000 users and has generated over one billion ad creatives. Its output is mostly static and short-form: broad, not deep.
Creatify gets you a finished short video ad without hiring a presenter or an editor. You paste a product URL and it builds the video; the 300 realistic AI actors, 200-plus ad templates and 75-plus languages it markets are the reason it can do that for almost any product.
It also gets the ad live: a competitor ad tracker to see what rivals run, and a launcher straight into Meta, TikTok and AppLovin. It goes deep on video, not broad across creative types.
So the comparison is not "which is better". It is "is your channel a video channel or not".
Pricing: both in US dollars
Neither tool prices in Australian dollars, so an Australian buyer pays the US figure plus currency conversion on both.
AdCreative.ai's Starter plan is US$39 a month for 10 credits and one brand. Its Professional plan is US$249 a month for 50 credits and 10 brands. Annual billing drops Starter to about US$20 a month and Professional to about US$125 a month.
Creatify's Starter plan is US$33 a month for 100 credits. Its Pro plan, which it marks as most popular, is US$49 a month for 300 credits. Creatify advertises up to 50% off on annual billing, and a free tier of 10 monthly credits that it says is enough for up to 2 video ads or 20 image ads a month.
The headline read: Creatify's entry and mid tiers are cheaper than AdCreative.ai's, and its free tier lets you test the output before paying. AdCreative.ai has no standing free tier, only a trial.
The one thing AdCreative.ai does that Creatify does not
AdCreative.ai's structural advantage is Creative Scoring. It returns a predicted-performance score the company says is accurate "over 90%" of the time, and it pushes creatives directly into Google and Meta.
Read the accuracy claim the way you read any vendor model number. It is useful as a relative ranking inside a batch, helping you choose which variations to test first; it is weak as an absolute prediction.
Creatify's competitor ad tracker is a different thing: it watches what rivals run, it does not score your own creative for predicted performance. If you want a signal that saves you spending budget on a dud, AdCreative.ai has it and Creatify does not.
What Creatify does that AdCreative.ai does not
Creatify is a real video production tool, not a tool that "can also do video".
The URL-to-video workflow, the AI actor library, the language coverage, and the TikTok and AppLovin launchers are built for teams whose paid social lives on short video. AdCreative.ai can produce video variations, but its video output is best understood as breadth across formats rather than a video editor. If your channel is TikTok and Reels first, Creatify is the tool designed for that job; AdCreative.ai is the tool designed to produce and score lots of variations across formats.

What Australian operators actually do
The realistic pattern is to match the tool to the channel, not to pick a universal winner. Teams whose paid social is video-led trial Creatify because the output is the format they run. Teams who need volume across static and mixed creative, with a triage signal, look at AdCreative.ai.
Plenty of Australian operators end up running a small stack: a video tool for short-form, a design tool like Canva for considered assets, a copy tool like Copy.ai when the weak point is the script rather than the footage, and a volume engine when paid-social cadence demands it.
The decision that moves results is not which tool, it is whether a generate-test-iterate process exists around it. Building that process so it actually saves you hours is the ground our AI Search and GEO engagement and our AI automations service cover for Australian businesses, and it pays back hardest in retail and e-commerce teams running high-frequency paid social.
Real operator feedback
The sentiment on AdCreative.ai, drawn from Product Hunt and quoted in our full review, splits cleanly. Eric Tung's positive line: "Nothing has matched the ROI impact of AdCreative.ai... it unlocked real momentum in our growth efforts." Fernando Monfort's critical one: "They charged me for a full month after day 7, without my permission... Avoid AdCreative.ai at all costs."
The lesson carries across to Creatify too. The complaint is rarely about output quality; it is about a US-dollar subscription that renews while you are not watching.
Creatify's standing free tier softens that risk, because you can test the output before a card is charged. AdCreative.ai's trial does not, which is why our review is firm about setting a cancellation reminder.
The legal point both vendors leave out
Whichever tool made the ad, the ad is legally yours. Under the Australian Consumer Law, the ban on misleading or deceptive conduct in section 18 applies to advertising regardless of who or what produced it.
An AI presenter making a claim your product cannot back, a generated video that misrepresents what the customer receives, AI copy that overstates a benefit: each exposes your business the same way a human-made version would, on Creatify or AdCreative.ai alike. AI authorship is not a defence. Build a review-before-launch step into your process on whichever tool you choose.
Verdict
There is no universal winner, because AdCreative.ai and Creatify are built for different formats. If your paid social is video-led, Creatify is the more direct fit: cheaper at the entry and mid tiers, and a free tier that lets you test before paying.
If you need volume static and mixed creative with a triage signal pushed into Google and Meta, AdCreative.ai is the tool for that job, with the billing discipline our review insists on. Match the tool to the channel, not to the brand.
