Bingham joins V2 AI after a decade at Amazon Web Services, where he served most recently as a global account manager. He also held earlier sales roles at NTT Data and IBM. Allen, a software engineer, likewise brings an AWS background to the role.
CEO Craig Howe said the move was driven by demand from the state's largest industries. "As AI continues to reshape how Australia's largest industries operate, establishing a local presence in Perth enables V2 AI to work more closely with customers on their transformation journeys," Howe said. "AI has the potential to redefine how Australia harnesses its natural resources, improves operational efficiency, and advances toward a more sustainable energy future."

Howe told CRN that organisations are managing AI deployments at significant scale. "Organisations are grappling with how to govern AI across hundreds or even thousands of users, multiple models, and increasingly autonomous agents," he said. "Models can access information they shouldn't, generate inconsistent outputs, or drift over time. In industries like financial services, energy, telecommunications and government, those risks can't be tolerated."

"That's exactly the problem I want to spend my time solving, and so I couldn't be more excited to tackle it with this incredibly talented team at V2 AI."
